Tesla’s “full self -driving” software and his flagship Cybertruck have been plagued by problems since they have reached their respective markets. That is why it is no surprise to hear that if you put together the two Tesla inventions, the results are not exactly good.
An owner of Cybertruck recently filed a complaint with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and reported that his stainless steel Maga-Mobile was completely self-driving when it “suddenly accelerated, got out of hand and collapsed in the railing.” He added that he could eventually get the truck under control, so that serious injury or death was avoided. I am not really an expert in the field of such things, but I don’t believe the system should do that.
The person also stated that Tesla did not respond to his complaint, despite the fact that the truck is California in Arroyo Grande, California on December 26 after the crash in Arroyo. Yes, that sounds good about what we know about Tesla.
This is what the full complaint on the Nhtsa website reads:
While driving my cyber truck on the highway with the help of Tesla’s FSD (fully driving itself). Vehicle suddenly accelerated, got out of hand and crashed into the railing. Fortunately I was able to check after crash and drove the safe location. Truck is seriously damaged and Tesla does not respond to my complaint. We were almost killed. Help please.
We must note that it is important to take this report with a small grain of salt. In theory, everyone can complain about what they want NHTSA, but they would need a real cyber truck Vin to do this, according to Carscoops. I am not sure why you would lie about something like that, but I suppose that cunning things happened on the internet.
Anyway, this is not a good look for Tesla. I mean, we know what kind of problems both the cyber truck and the full self -driving software have had in the past. It should not be shocking that the mating of the two would cause this kind of junk.
