Weekend and, of course, days to be attentive to today, Sabatino does not circulate. Because specific restrictions on Saturdays can be very expensive if we do not remedy and we put ourselves at the wheel of our car without taking anything into account.
But what are we talking about? Of course, of today’s restrictions, a system designed by the CDMX Ministry of Environment (Sedema) to try to reduce pollutant air emissions we breathe.
This measure, as surely you know, forces to leave some cars at home since it applies a very simple formula: less cars, less pollution. But of course, for that restrictions apply that can lead us to a fine if we are not attentive.
Restrictions that only apply in the 16 mayors in Mexico City and in the following conurbation municipalities of the State of Mexico:

- Cuautitlán Izcalli
- Chalco
- Chicoloapan
- Chimalhuacán
- Ecatepec de Morelos
- Huixquilucan

What cars and plaques affect the Sabatino today
Once we have this clear, what restrictions apply and how? First, what we have to be clear about is that our cars will not be able to move if we are in any of the following groups that we are going to specify below.
First, for day to day you have the superior image. It specifies that, depending on the hologram and plate number, a car will always have to rest. Of course, the thing changes the weekend because on Saturdays there are specific rules.
Thus, a day like today the following conditions can be applied.
- Cars that can circulate every Saturday
- Cars that have to rest every Saturday
- Cars that rest on a Saturday yes and another no+
These restrictions, however, do not apply all day. At night they do not take into account and, therefore, are active between 05:00 and 10:00 p.m.. That is, at night we can move freely and without being afraid of fines.
Analyzed all this, the important thing is to know who cannot circulate during today does not circulate Sabatino. To do this you have to look at the hologram, the plate number and, if necessary, the calendar.
On Saturdays, cars with hologram 2 cannot circulate in any case. The opposite happens with cars with hologram 0 and 00 that can move completely free. As are less pollutants, they can move with total freedom.
But what happens to hologram 1? In this case, the restrictions are distributed taking into account the calendar. This Saturday, June 7, 2025 We are facing the first Saturday of the month. That means that it is the cars with hologram 1 and plate finished in odd number those that rest. Next week, as is broken, they will be finished in torque.
However, there are some exceptions that must be taken into account because those cars can move with total freedom:
- Those that work for electricity, natural gas or are hybrid
- Those who have disabled plate
- All those dedicated to urban transport services (includes funerals)
- Those who offer school or passenger transport
- Those destined for public safety and/or civil protection
In case of breaching these restrictions, the fine will be 20 to 30 times the unit of measurement and update (ONE), which is equivalent to 1,924.40 pesos and even 2,886.60 pesos.
