WhatsApp is adding a bunch of new features to again make the caling and texting experience of users better than before. For a limited period of time, WhatsApp users will be able to see new video calling effects based on the New Year. Apart from that, the app has also got new animations and sticker packs for the same.
WhatsApp features to celebrate new year
As explained by WhatsApp, now the users will be able to make calls on the platform with festive backgrounds, effects, and filters to mark the celebrations of the new year. Furthermore, if someone reacts to messages with any of the party emojis, then the confetti animation will appear for both the sender and receiver.
In addition, WhatsApp has also launched new stickers. You can get to see the New Year’s Eve sticker pack along with avatar stickers as well. As said by WhatsApp, the new stickers and animations will help the users in wishing New Year to their loved ones in a highly interactive way.
Keeping all the celebratory features aside, WhatsApp working on a lot of features and has even introduced some of them to enhance the user experience. A few days ago the meta-owned instant messaging platform dropped new effects for video calls. Along with that, we also got to see the feature in which the users can select particular participants for calls in groups without bothering the whole chat.
And that’s not it as the list is really long related to the features that have been joined this year on the stable version of the application. And the platform is going to make some major additions to make the Status section more productive in order to keep the users engaged on the platform. Expectations are that we will get to see more of it in the coming year along with other features joining the party as well.
