WhatsApp has been dropping a lot of features lately to enhance the user experience. Now, the latest report published by WABetaInfo suggested that the latest WhatsApp for iOS version has brought the call dialer as well. The call dialer introduced in the application looks pretty identical to the iPhone’s standard caller.
The feature works in the same way the regular dialer works. For example, you will be supposed to enter someone’s number on the dialer and if they are registered on WhatsApp then the call will be placed. The same has been done to make it easier for the users to access calls quickly.
And the best part is that the users will not have to save the numbers before calling them on WhatsApp. While we all know that can be done pretty easily as of now. The dialer in the application can be found with a ‘+’ button in the Calls tab in WhatsApp.
With this, WhatsApp is gearing up to become the full replacement for the iPhone’s dialer app. This comes after the iOS 18.2 release that allows users to choose a third-party application as their default application for text and messages. Until now, there are no apps possessing that kind of functionality. However, WhatsApp could soon be the flagbearer of the same.
In parallel news, WhatsApp, to make the platform more interactive, has also introduced 10 new video effects for the masses along with a few calling features. Now, the users will be able to remove people from video calls as well along with providing more control over the video calls.
