Xpeng Motors has been adapting its advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) to overseas markets outside China this year and could make the feature available to global users as early as 2026, chief executive He Xiaopeng said on Tuesday on Chinese social media platform WeChat. He shared his view about making ADAS for global markets that companies must have their vehicles with basic components for intelligent driving as a standard feature, giving customers their software free of charge, and constantly providing new features. The Chinese electric vehicle maker has planned to enter 60 overseas markets from currently 30 or so by the end of this year, and more than half of its sales will come from abroad over the next decade.
