This naming trend can also be seen in other countries. For example, in the USA they are looking for positions such as test driver for autonomous AI trucks, physiotherapist (AI-supported documentation) and real estate agent – including AI-based lead system. In France, positions are advertised for “sales representatives for AI products and solutions”, while in the Netherlands AI-using personnel are in demand for marketing and advertising specialists.
Three groups in transition
The experts at Indeed have identified three groups of AI job segments: The first group is AI implementation and consulting. These are positions where candidates are expected to advise on AI strategy, manage AI adoption, or oversee process changes. According to Indeed, these include account managers, operations managers and business development specialists.
The second segment takes care of AI training and creates content. These include language specialists, external speakers for voice recordings and subject matter experts who are specifically recruited to generate or review training data for AI models. Also part of this group are designers and marketers who use AI to create content.
The third area deals with teaching AI. These include coaches, tutors, lecturers and company trainers. These people are increasingly being hired to teach colleagues, customers and students how AI tools can be used.
AI is no longer an IT phenomenon
Dr. Virginia Sondergeld, economist and labor market expert at Indeed, classifies the results of the study as follows:
“The job market is undergoing a transformation due to AI that now extends beyond IT departments. It is no longer just software developers or data scientists whose job profiles are being redefined by AI. Clerks, HR managers and sales people are increasingly affected.” She adds that a “basic understanding of AI applications and their practical use” is increasingly becoming a standard requirement across industries.
