JASON Reitz might be the most intriguing prospect in baseball right now.

The University of Oregon pitcher is turning heads for his sheer size.

Reitz is an abnormal baseball prospect, and could break records if he makes it to MLB.

He stands at a massive 6-foot-11, and is catching attention from his recent pitching performances.

The right-hander made his best start of the season on Sunday, pitching five solid innings allowing just one hit and one run.

With the win, he improved his record to 2-0 on the season and lowered his ERA to 4.02.

Reitz has served as both a starter and a reliever this year, notching a save back on March 7.

His ERA is inflated due to a rough outing in his second game of the season, where he allowed five earned runs in just 1.1 innings.

Since then, he hasn’t allowed more than three earned runs in a game.

Reitz’s massive stature got the attention of the MLB TikTok account, which posted a video from his most recent start.

“That’s what we call a tall drink of water,” the caption said.

MLB fans were baffled by his stature, and compared Reitz to a Hall of Fame pitcher.

“That’s another Randy Johnson,” one fan said.

“Should’ve played basketball,” another fan said.

“The second coming of Randy Johnson??” a third fan said.

“Looks like Paul skenes a lil,” a fourth fan said.

“All I see is Randy Johnson 2.0,” a fifth fan said.

If Reitz makes it to the major leagues, he would tie a record as the tallest player in MLB history.

He would be just the third 6-foot-11 player, following Jon Rauch and Sean Hjelle.

Reitz is an inch taller than Randy Johnson, who won five Cy Young awards and made 10 All-Star games at 6-foot-10.

Johnson is the tallest player in the MLB Hall of Fame.

Reitz is in his junior season this year, and will be eligible to enter the MLB Draft after this season if he chooses to.
