Xiaomi’s first clamshell foldable device, Mix Flip, has been confirmed to make a debut in the global market in September. Xiaomi CEO and founder Lei Jun has put a stamp on the same via X.com that the smartphone is arriving this month outside the Chinese market. The design of the device is somewhat different from what we get to see in the Samsung Flip devices.
Furthermore, it houses a dual rear camera setup and a punch-hole display at the front. As for the pricing, the Xiaomi Mix Flip’s 12GB RAM variant with 256GB internal storage is available in the Chinese market for CNY 5,999 which converts to Rs 69,000. The one with 512GB internal storage is priced at CNY 6,499 which converts to Rs 74,800.
Apart from that, the high-end variant from the series with 16GB RAM and 1TB RAM is available for CNY 7,299 which is roughly Rs 84,000. Speculations are that the smartphone will be launched in the global market at similar prices.

Xiaomi Mix Flip comes with a 4.01-inch 1.5K AMOLED outer display and a 6.86-inch 1.5K AMOLED inner display with 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 1TB internal storage in the high-end variant. The device is based on the Xiaomi HyperOS backed by Android 14.
Xiaomi Mix Flip sports a dual rear camera setup consisting of a dual rear camera sensor including a 50MP Light Fusion 800 primary shooter along with a 50MP OmniVision OV60A40 shooter. For the sake of selfies and video calls, the device comes with a 32MP front sensor. The smartphone packs a 4,780mAh battery along with 67W fast charging support.
