Forterro’s Cloud ERP to support warehousing and Ecommerce

The UK-based industrial midmarket software solutions provider Forterro has entered the cloud ERP space with the launch of Orderwise Cloud, a solution tailored for the retail and wholesale warehousing and ecommerce companies.

The system is fully integrated with eBay and Amazon and its SaaS solution, along with an enterprise-grade cloud platform providing added security, accessibility, and functionality to users.

With the Orderwise Cloud, Forterro says it has increased its strategic focus on cloud ERP solutions. Steve Ridgley, director of product development & research at Forterro noted, “Cloud is an increasing focus for our customers and therefore also for us. Orderwise Cloud is based on 33 years of providing software to those sectors, and we have used all that accumulated learning into cloud delivery and all the benefits that come with that.”

Orderwise Cloud can be custom integrated with various user platforms and has features that can enhance or automate workflows. A fully scalable system, the Orderwise Cloud also helps in reducing tech stack costs which result in lower total cost of ownership (TCO).

The product’s added focus on security provides features that constantly monitor threats to reduce business and personal risk, and can also offer rapid threat investigation and response in case of an attack.

This feature was key for Automated Environmental Systems (AES), one of the largest suppliers and manufacturers of pumps and pumping equipment in the UK, which became one of the first users of Orderwise Cloud after being a long-term user of Orderwise’s on-premises system.
