After the announcement of the PlayStation 5 Pro two weeks ago, it seems that the Japanese manufacturer still has a few surprises to reveal to us. It’s ahead of Tokyo Game Show 2024 which will begin this Thursday, September 26th that PlayStation is hosting a new State of Play presentation. The news has just been officially shared on the brand’s various social accounts, which will see us all tomorrow. This Tuesday, September 24 at 11:59 p.m. (French time)late-night gamers will be able to enjoy more than 30 minutes of exclusive announcements.
Sony is already promising us that share information about more than 20 titleswhich suggests a State of Play that will be very busy to say the least. As usual, the presentation will take place directly on YouTube and Twitch and will be broadcast in English and Japanese. In our country, we will have to make do with subtitles. We only have to wait a little over 24 hours before learning more about the latest projects from PlayStation and its partner studios, but rumors are already allowing us to make some predictions.

Remasters and big licenses on the agenda?
In recent days, social media has been a source of many rumors about upcoming PlayStation announcements. Perhaps you have already followed the debates about the possible remaster of Days Gone. The famous post-apocalyptic title of 2019 – yet devoid of a second opus due to its lack of popularity – could well receive a reworked edition only five years after its initial release. This practice that PlayStation seems to abuse after the release of the (too) numerous remasters of The Last of Us could benefit Bend Studios’ production, however. Who knows, maybe once all the issues are fixed, Days Gone will finally meet the expected success and will land its sequel which was no longer relevant.
This beginning of the week has also been the scene of rumors concerning the franchise Resident Evil. The announcement of the ninth opus during an imminent State of Play was notably mentioned repeatedly. Now that the PlayStation presentation is official, the future of survival horror could well be decided by tomorrow. But in the meantime, all of this is obviously to be taken with a pinch of salt. If the game of speculation is always fun on the eve of a presentation, this one can quickly make us disillusioned. Yes Hollow Knight : Silksongwe’re talking about you. See you tomorrow at 11:59 p.m. for a State of Play that would probably be a shame to miss.
