He adds that it is visually interestingbecause it is necessary “as a filmmaker, finding creative ways to film every inch of a small space and trying to make it look different and finding new details in each scene”. The director has some experience in the field since he immortalized Liam Neeson on board a train for The Passenger and on a plane to Non-Stop. The trailer does not cultivate the mystery concerning the identity of the one who mistreats poor Ethan. The Netflix film indeed summons Jason Bateman to play the antagonist. Sofia Carson completes the leading trio, she who starred in the drama Our bruised hearts in 2022 on Netflix. As a reminder, Carry-On marks Netflix’s first collaboration with Amblin Entertainment. In 2021, the platform announced a major partnership with the studio founded by Steven Spielberg.
