What advice would you give to a first-time founder?
Steve Salvin: Careers are long! Your first startup will become your world, but it’s vital to step back from time to time and get some perspective. Many founders are working towards a form of exit, meaning running that company won’t be your life forever – there are likely many chapters of your career still to come. This is something I’ve learnt as a serial entrepreneur. And I think it’s important to hold on to this perspective to avoid sweating the small stuff and make decisions with a long-term lens, rather than a short-term, reactive one….
