Hyundai recall
According to the NHTSA, Hyundai is recalling more than 187,000 vehicles due to damaged charging unit and wiring problems.
Hyundai is recalling 145,235 vehicles because the Integrated Charging Control Unit may become damaged and stop charging the 12-volt battery, which could result in loss of propulsion power.

Dealers will inspect and replace the ICCU and fuse as necessary. In addition, dealers will update the ICCU software. All repairs are carried out free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on January 17, 2025. Owners can contact Hyundai Customer Service at 1-855-371-9460 or Genesis Customer Service at 1-844-340-9741. Hyundai’s numbers for this recall are 272 (Hyundai) and 025G (Genesis). This recall expands and replaces the previous recall number 24V-204. For vehicles previously repaired under recall 24V-204, the new fix must be completed.
Hyundai is also recalling 42,465 2025 Tucson and Santa Cruz vehicles. It is possible that the console extension wiring has been routed incorrectly, allowing the transmission to be shifted out of park without pressing the brake pedal.
Owners are advised to use the parking brake when parking the vehicle. Dealers will reroute the console extension wiring free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on January 19, 2025. Owners can contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai’s number for this recall is 273.

Kia recalls vehicles due to charging unit
Kia is recalling 62,872 EV6 vehicles from the 2022-2024 period. The Integrated Charging Control Unit may become damaged and stop charging the 12 volt battery, which may result in loss of propulsion power.

Honda recalls motorcycles
Honda is recalling more than 40,481 motorcycles. The fuel pump impellers may not be formed properly, which can cause them to deform and cause fuel pump failure.

Chrysler is recalling 7,198 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L vehicles. A software error in the instrument cluster can cause the speedometer to display the wrong vehicle speed.
Dealers will inspect and update the instrument cluster software free of charge as necessary. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on December 17, 2024. Owners can contact FCA Customer Service at 1-800-853-1403. The FCA number for this recall is B8B.
