You would think that after the retail chaos of Black Friday weekend, stores would be taking it easy now. But Best Buy just isn’t satisfied and decided to keep us busy by launching a three-day sale across all of its departments. This isn’t cast-offs and also-rans, either. The big blue box is offering massive discounts, as much as 60%, on well-reviewed products including some Editors’ Choice winners. We took a little time to dig through the deals and here are five of the absolute peak ones from Best Buy’s weekend sale.
If you were to buy each component of this bundle—three Arlo Pro 5S outdoor day/night cameras with anti-theft mounts, four batteries, a charging station and yard signs — you’d spend $800. Getting a bundle discount and then cutting the price again makes this easily the best smart security deal on the market right now. In our review of the Pro 5S, we praised its simple installation, excellent video quality and wealth of features like an integrated spotlight, two-way audio and intelligent alerts. Some features, like cloud video storage, require a monthly subscription, but the cash you save on this offer is enough for twelve years’ worth of Arlo Secure coverage.

In our review of the Beats Solo 4 headphones, we had a lot of great things to say about its strong, rich sound with accentuated bass and clear highs, as well as its comfortable fit and support for both wireless and wired connections through both standard 1/8″ jack as well as USB-C. Our main caveat was that they were a little expensive, and a 50% price cut at Best Buy handles that complaint with ease. Although they lack active noise cancellation, the earcups are solid and comfortable, and the physical control buttons are responsive and easy to use.

Microsoft’s push for Copilot AI in the latest version of Windows 11 has hardware makers rushing to put out compatible machines that can run it. A wave of laptops featuring Copilot-friendly processors hit the market over the last few months, and this contender from HP looks really nice at a whopping $600 off the list price. In our review, we praised the excellent performance of the new AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor, saying that it benchmarked well and had solid battery life. One downside is the lack of ports, but a cheap USB hub can solve that with ease.

Best Buy has a bunch of PlayStation 5 games on sale for super-low prices this weekend, but our top pick is Hideo Kojima’s quixotic post-Metal Gear project Death Stranding. In our review of the Director’s Cut of the game, we gave it an Editors’ Choice award with writer Tony Polanco saying it was “the definitive version of Hideo Kojima’s trippy action-adventure game.” As Sam Bridges, you trek through a post-apocalyptic America infested with bizarre creatures and even worse humans, delivering packages to restore civilization. This version includes tons of new missions and even a 12-track driving game. $20 is a steal.

With how big games are getting these days, our drives are heaving under the weight of just a single Call of Duty. Best Buy has your back, though, with almost half off an excellent, rugged Samsung external SSD. In our review, we praised the T7 Shield for its rugged construction, with senior analyst Tony Hoffman calling it “a good choice for travelers and outdoor workers who want a pocketable drive with good capacity that can stand up to the elements and won’t cause them to lose sleep if it’s lost or stolen.” Supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2, transfer speeds are fast and stable.
