Windows is no longer Microsoft’s flagship product. But the company founded by Bill Gates and Paul Allen is no longer the same as it was a long time ago. Their business model has changed drastically. Windows was a key part of its success, and remains relevant, but its focus is now on artificial intelligence (AI) and the cloud.
This does not mean that Microsoft has stopped caring about Windows. The firm continues to work on this product, and hopes to continue using it to promote some of its products and regain ground in lost battles.
