Apple is planning to unveil its upcoming AirPods Pro in 2025 with a slew of health features. As per a report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple could get heart rate technology and temperature sensing. However, we don’t have the exact timeline for the release of the upcoming AirPods Pro 3, however, we can expect the health features to be coming over the years.
As per reports, the AirPods Pro 3 is in the early stages of development, and adding this feature would give users more flexibility to keep track of their fitness and health goals. The feature of heart rate technology is available in the Apple Watch, making it one of the best options in the wearable segment. But expecting it in Airpods is an unexpected turn that Apple could bring within its earbuds segment.
As per Mark Gurman, the tech giant has found in its internal testing that the heart rate monitoring feature is more accurate on the Apple Watch as compared to the AirPods. But the technology doesn’t seem to be far off for its upcoming AirPods Pro 3. Additionally, Apple is also working on its previously shelved project to add cameras to its Airpods lineup.
As per reports, right now company’s top priority is to bring camera features into its Airpods, bringing innovative products that are tailored based on the needs of products embedded with Artificial Intelligence. Although, the tech giant has made significant progress users still need to wait for at least a couple of years before seeing this futuristic camera-embedded Airpods.
To recall, Apple released a new firmware update for AirPods Pro 2 earlier this year with hearing health features. The feature is available for people with mild to moderate hearing loss.
