WALMART has doubled down on its collab with a popular hot dog station, with new locations now added.
Customers can enjoy specialty dogs, as well as a variety of barbecue food, while doing their weekly shop.
Crave Hot Dogs has been steadily building a reputation as a top notch barbecue brand since it was founded in 2018.
Headquartered in Houston, TX, it has grown to operate locations in 16 states.
These include branches in Arizona, Florida, Virginia and Iowa to name just a few.
But bosses are looking to expand the restaurant’s footprint even more by extending their deal with Walmart.
Supermarket customers will soon be able to find Crave stations in select locations around Ohio, Florida, and Kentucky.
These will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, offering Crave’s all-beef dogs and a range of their BBQ products.
The firm also revealed that new locations are already planned for New York, Georgia, and Texas by the end of the year.
A whopping 100 units are planned by the peak of the partnership.
Samantha Rincione, Crave’s CEO and co-founder, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Walmart for Crave’s expansion.
“This new venture allows us to offer quick and delicious dining, and we’re excited to see the positive impact it will have on the community.”
One Crave fan took to Facebook to share their delight.
They wrote: “Watch out Costco!
“Walmart’s got hot dogs too.”
However, shoppers can still expect rival Costco’s hot dog deal to work out cheaper.
Crave’s website currently shows a single dog as retailing for $6.45 at its food trucks and $5.45 in restaurants.
But this can’t match Costco’s legendary hot dog and drink combo.
The budget chain started the offer in 1984, charging just $1.50.
Amazingly, the price still hasn’t changed today.
