After several weeks of coming close to cardiac arrest with each notification from Nintendo on social networks, the most impatient players can finally breathe. The Nintendo Switch 2 is official and will be presented in more detail during a dedicated Direct. This meeting is set for April 2 and promises to be full of nice surprises. The Kyoto firm has already given us the gift of some extracts from the new Mario Kart : enough to fuel the hype and impatience over the coming weeks which promise to be very long.
But the wait will be worth it. Indeed, the Nintendo Direct on April 2 will be quickly followed by a console discovery event in the heart of Paris. Like what was proposed for the first Switch of the name in 2017, the manufacturer will set up shop at the Grand Palais to invite the public to take the new console in hand. Here, the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience will take place from Friday April 4 to Sunday April 6, 2025. If you live elsewhere in Europe, be aware that the cities of London, Berlin, Milan, Amsterdam and Madrid will all welcome the Switch 2 as well. The hardest part is yet to come: the console test will be accessible only by registration and places are limited!

When and how to register for the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience?
To hope to discover the console before everyone else, the manufacturer invites us to visit its official website. Registrations for the ticket office will open on January 17 at 3 p.m. (French time) and close on January 26 at 11:59 p.m. Know that there is no need to rush: tickets will be allocated by drawing lots. You will therefore have to pray to your lucky stars (preferably a Luma) to hope to end up on the VIP list.

Discover in person the #NintendoSwitch2 during the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience: Paris event, from April 4 to 6 at the Grand Palais.
Registration for the draw (a Nintendo account, which can be created for free, is required) from 01/17 at 3:00 p.m. to 01/26 at 11:59 p.m.: https://t.co/TqwI8zlgp8 pic.twitter.com/8YjIlLAWBM

Registration will be reserved for Nintendo account holdersbut don’t panic. Unlike the Alarmo alarm clock, which is still reserved for Switch Online members, the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience event does not require subscription to this subscription. Note, however, that it is only possible to register for one such event in Europe: you will therefore not be able to tour the cities announced to extend your date with the Switch 2.
If you are drawn, you will receive a message on the email address associated with your Nintendo account. The manufacturer specifies that the email could accidentally end up in junk folders, and recommends adding the address (email protected) to approved senders to avoid missing an invitation. Unfortunately, the losers of the draw will not be able to attend, since no entry tickets will be distributed on the day of the event.
