THIS week, PC gamers are getting yet another free game and no subscription is required to claim it.
The Epic Games Store has refreshed its weekly free offering, and players can now pick up a zombie-themed survival adventure.
Undying tells a heart-wrenching story of Angling, a mother who’s been bitten by a zombie.
She must survive and teach her son Cody life-saving skills and ensure he is safe as her days are numbered.
It’s a survival crafting game, and you’ll be scavenging materials and food, crafting and enhancing items, and teaching your son everything you do.
Undying offers a unique twist on the survival crafting genre and is realized in a gorgeous low-poly art style.
Players will have until February 6, 2025, at 4pm UK time / 11am ET to pick up Undying for free.
Next week, the store will offer Beyond Blue, an educational diving game that just received a VR sequel, Beyond Blue: After the Storm, for Meta Quest 3 and Quest 2 headsets.
To claim Undying, you will need a free Epic Games Store account, and head to the free games section on the store’s home page.
You can also add free games to your library via the Epic Games Launcher, and you will need it to download and play them, so it’s worth having it installed on your PC.
Once you’ve claimed a game during the free period, it will stay in your library, so you can play it at any time.
No subscription or hidden payment is required to keep your free Epic Games Store.
