While there is no confirmed address or date set yet, there will be an Apple Store in downtown Detroit, Michigan, soon, per The Detroit News.

Detroit is now under the store list for Michigan, and when clicked upon, Apple notes it will be “coming soon.”

“Apple Downtown Detroit is now hiring. Imagine what you could do here,” a page on the site notes.

Links to available jobs at the soon-to-arrive store were also included.

Currently, there are six other Apple Stores in Michigan.

They reside in Ann Arbor, Clinton Township, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Novi, and Troy.

BILLIONAIRE’S HELP?

Apple currently has 274 stores in total in the United States.

Some suspect the Apple Downtown Detroit will be located along Woodward Avenue, as it was teased in November 2023 by billionaire and entrepreneur, Dan Gilbert.

Gilbert said he’d been trying to get Apple to put a location in the central business district of the city for some time through his real estate company, Bedrock LLC.

“We’re getting close on Apple, but we’re not there yet — so don’t print that,” he noted while speaking at the Detroit Free Press “Breakfast Club” event.

OPENINGS CONTINUE

One of the most recent Apple Stores to open nationwide was the Apple Miami Worldcenter in Miami, Florida, per a news release.

It’s also located in the city’s downtown area and has a “biophilic design” surrounded by green spaces.

Inside, accessibility features like a “portable hearing loop” also help those customers who are hard of hearing or using hearing aids to shop with ease.

With its January 24, 2025, opening, it makes for the fifth Apple Store in Miami alone.

APPLE LOVERS GUIDE

Are you self proclaimed Apple lover well here are some fun hacks for you….

There are a total of 19 Apple Stores in Florida.

Apple’s senior vice president of Retail and People, Deirdre O’Brien, said the company sought to capture the essence of the city.

“Miami is a city with a history, culture, and life all its own, and we are thrilled to capture that energy with Apple Miami Worldcenter in downtown Miami,” O’Brien noted in the release.

“This new store brings Apple values to life in every detail, while celebrating the creativity of the city with an incredible lineup of in-store sessions.”

Time will tell what the design and inspiration for the Downtown Detroit location is.

Shoppers at Walmart have also been crying out for the retailer to include a popular Apple service recently.

A surprise “cheap” iPhone could only be days away as well after a tease from CEO Tim Cook.
