Alexa+ therefore differs from its predecessor with AI which will help the user on a daily basis. As we said above, Alexa+ is smarter, more personalized and more conversational. And during the demonstrations we were able to attend, we were surprised by the natural language that Alexa+proposed. If we had to make a comparison, we have never been so close to the film Her Brief … To return to the Amazon assistant, Alexa+ is much simpler and intuitive, which allows him above all to understand what the user wants. Indeed, it is no longer necessary to use specific sentences to have an answer. And the obliges, Alexa+ will necessarily improve over time.
And to better help, Alexa+ will work with many already existing services and devices. We are talking about services such as Uber, Amazon (necessarily), Spotify, Apple Music, Netflix, Disney+, etc. And devices like those of Philips Hue, Roborock, etc. But the most surprising is this ability thanks to AI to make the possible link between several services and/or devices, a bit like what Samsung recently offered with its “cross-Apps” when launching its Galaxy S25 Series. The whole allows an intuitive, proactive and above all, much simpler experience. And as was a bit already the case, we can control several devices connected in a single request, create Alexa routines entirely by the voice, and Alexa will deduce what the user implies and this, without explicit request.
For existing services, Alexa+ allows you to go further. You can listen to music with Amazon, Spotify and other services, but also have in -depth conversations with Alexa+ about artists and their discography. And in terms of video, we can, for example, ask questions about characters, films, episodes, original bands and even access a specific scene. We had a demo where we started with film music and we found ourselves in the end in the film concerned and this, with a simple conversation with Alexa. Impressive.
