CaixaBank and Microsoft have announced the launch of a New edition, the eighth, of the Wonnow Awards. It is an initiative that aims to promote and make visible female talent in STEM areas (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), and are both recognition and support so that women can increase their presence in a sector in which the participation of women is scarce.
The Wonnow Awards offer 15 selected students the possibility of accessing a professional experience for six months in CaixaBank, in addition to receiving Microsoft mentoring to improve their technical skills and acquire new knowledge in areas such as AI, cybersecurity, data analysis and programming. The award -winning can participate in a work environment in which they can apply their knowledge in real projects, as well as participate in the development of technological solutions.
Likewise, both CaixaBank and Microsoft will recognize the student with the best academic file, professional, personal and social trajectory, with a Price of 10,000 euros and access to Microsoft’s mentoring.
In order to participate in the Wonnow Awards, the students must have exceeded a minimum of 180 credits of a Stem degree, and may present their candidacy through this website until June 30.
In their previous editions, these awards have had the participation of thousands of women students from all over Spain, and have been growing in participation since their first edition. In its latest edition he recorded 1,078 candidacies, four times more than in the first. In total, more than 4,800 students have participated in its seven editions.
