CARRIE Underwood couldn’t contain her emotions on Sunday night when she broke down in tears on the American Idol judging panel.
The country star, 41, who won American Idol back in 2005, made her judging debut on the hit talent show on March 9.

But during her first judging sting, Carrie was brought to tears when Breanna Nix performed one of her hits.
Breanna, 25, appeared on the show when she walked into the audition room with her baby son Emerson.
Emerson sat on Carrie’s lap while stay-at-home mom Breanna performed with her husband Austin, who played the piano.
Breanna spoke about her weight loss journey ahead of her performance, with her keen to let her son know that chasing dreams can pay off.
The blond beauty then performed Jesus, Take The Wheel by Carrie Underwood, as Emerson sat on Carrie’s lap and they watched Breanna croon the emotional song.
As Breanna sang, Carrie could be seen getting emotional as baby Emerson fell asleep due to his mom’s soothing vocals.
Carrie then sniffled as she teared up, saying: “I’m sorry, he’s just so adorable and sweet.”
Breaking her silence about the emotional moment she had on the show, Carrie said on X: “I had a hard time going back and forth between talking to Emerson and the adults.
“Sorry you got the baby talk @breannanixmusic ! What a great audition!!! Such a beautiful family!”
‘I’M NOT CRYING, YOU’RE CRYING’
Meanwhile, show host Ryan Seacrest couldn’t contain his emotions either.
Watching the episode from the comfort of his own home, Ryan shared a snap of himself in floods of tears while sitting on the sofa.
“This show will turn you into a crier,” he penned alongside it on X.
Viewers reacted to the emotional rendition, too.
“OMG! Jesus Take The Wheel. I’m not crying, you’re crying,” penned one.

Those in Carrie’s circle revealed she is “frustrated” with how the performance went, The U.S. Sun previously reported.
“Her keeping quiet is an indicator things did not go well for her, not how she wanted.
“Reports of her having a ‘hissy fit’ isn’t true though, she isn’t a toddler but she was and is frustrated,” the insider said.
The source claimed, “How the performance was pitched to her and how it ended up going were two very different experiences.
“Most of that had to do with the event being moved indoors which decreased the guest list and how many people she could bring with her – something she was not happy about.
“She’s proud of herself for how she handled such a chaotic situation but I think she’s second-guessing this whole thing and wondering if it was worth it.
