5 March Madness Weekend Tech Deals: Up to 65% Off on Apple, Sonos, More

College basketball fans are gearing up for “March Madness” this weekend as conference championships lead into Selection Sunday. Before the first tip-off and filling out those brackets, you’ve got time for some shopping, and this weekend has some of the best deals on well-reviewed tech we’ve seen in some time. Apple’s killer AirPods Pro 2 headphones got a price drop, joined by one of our favorite Android phones, a Sonos soundbar, laptops, and more. These deals are all champions in their own right!

Apple’s tremendous in-ear headphones are on sale for 32% off their retail price right now, making them not only some of the best-performing units in the space but also extremely affordable. In our review of the AirPods Pro 2s, we raved about their perfectly-balanced audio signature, effective and customizable audio cancellation, comfortable fit and ultra-simple integration with iOS devices. Add in cool software features like the ability to use them as full-fledged hearing aids and you’ve got some seriously impressive tech at a great price.

This is an incredible deal on a slimline laptop with a nice screen and some solid components. In our review of the Vivobook S, we praised its up-to-date features like Wi-Fi 6 support and Thunderbolt USB-C ports, as well as its perky performance for the price point. Being able to shave 47% off makes it an even more attractive option The 60Hz Lumina OLED screen has up to 600 nits of peak HDR brightness and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and the keyboard even has single-zone RGB backlighting. Throw in MIL-STD 810H durability and you’ve got a real champion for the price.

Here’s a great TV to watch all the March Madness games, or anything else. We raved about the Hisense U8 in our review, giving it an Editors’ Choice award for its bright, crisp panel and extremely competitive price. At a 37% discount, it smokes just about every other set on the market at this size. With a Mini-LED Pro+ screen featuring over 2,000 individually accessible dimming zones, you get crisp contrast and up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness, great color fidelity and a cracking 144Hz refresh rate, making it great for fast breaks and gaming nights.

There’s a newer model of this phone on the market, but we still rate the Google Pixel 7 Pro highly in the mobile Android space, and at this price you simply can’t find a better deal. In our review, we gushed over the Pixel 7 Pro’s next-generation photography features, harnessing AI to make the images captured by the trio of cameras, including a 50MP base unit, a 12MP ultra-wide, and a 48MP, f/3.5 telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom look even better. The display is equally impressive, and battery life is solid.

We gave an Editors’ Choice award to the Sonos Arc soundbar in our review for its impressively large sound field and great bass response even without a subwoofer. Our only real complaint was that it felt a little spendy at $899, so a 28% discount is very welcome. This subtle-looking speaker pairs easily with all major TVs and other audio sources, and supports voice commands through Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. The inclusion of angled tweeters lets it also replicate Dolby Atmos spatial sound, and the Sonos app gives you tons of control over different modes and sound styling.
