The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is approaching and new leaks regarding the launch date, storage and colors appear. If we believe the information of the Dutch site Nieuwe Mobiel, the ultra-fine smartphone will arrive in Europe from April 15, 2025. This date confirms the previous rumors that pointed to marketing during the month of April. However, we do not yet know if the Galaxy S25 Edge will be immediately available for purchase that day or if it is only the date of presentation and opening of pre-orders.

In addition, a doubt still remains on the real release date of the ultra-fine smartphone from the South Korean brand. Samsung could finally postpone the launch in May, or even in June 2025, if the Etnews site is to be believed. Unlike the difficulties encountered by Google with the Pixel 9a, the Galaxy S25 Edge would not encounter last minute problems and Samsung would simply like to adjust its calendar. In addition, the launch would not be made through a large conference but via a simple online event.

The launch date is still debated, the configurations and colors are cleared

In the meantime, we learn that the Galaxy S25 EDGE will be available from two internal storage capacities: 256 and 512 GB, such as the Galaxy S25+. The smartphone would add 12 GB of RAM and offer the choice between three color options. Here are the expected variants, accompanied by their model references:

Color/Storage 256 Go 512 Go
Argent (Silver) SM-S937BZSD SM-S937Bzsg
Noir (Black) SM-S937Bzkd SM-S937Bzkg
Blue (Blue) SM-S937BLBD SM-S937BLBG

It is interesting to note that these three colors (silver, black, blue) had already been mentioned by the Winfuture site, adding credibility to this information. The site had shared official renderings of the three “titanium” colors, an appellation which suggests that the chassis will be in titanium.

Under the hood, the presence of 12 GB of RAM will allow the Galaxy S25 Edge to reach the rest of the S25 range. This capacity should in particular allow it to effectively run the many features based on artificial intelligence (Galaxy AI) that Samsung incorporates its devices. Recall that this smartphone should integrate a Snapdragon 8 Elite and a double photo sensor at the back.

To support the release of the S25 Edge, Samsung plans to market dedicated accessories from the first day. Two of them have already been identified:

  • Silicone shell (Silicone Case) Gray (reference: EF-PS937CJ)
  • “Kindsuit case” case in blue imitation leather (reference: EF-VS937PL)

These types of cases are classics for Samsung, having already been offered for other models in the S25 series.

What about the Price?

The launch price of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge remains the main unknown at this stage. However, previous rumors suggested a sale price which would be between 1,200 and 1,400 euros. If this fork is confirmed, this would place the S25 EDGE at a level slightly higher than that of the Galaxy S25+. The manufacturer’s intermediate model appeared at 1,169 euros in 256 GB when it was released and 1,289 euros for the 512 GB version.
