32-Inch TV Deals
Let’s open up with a super-budget model from Insignia that’s perfect for a kitchen, workshop or other room where having a TV to watch videos is helpful but doesn’t have to be your primary entertainment center. The Insignia F20 is a sturdily-built screen with HD 720p resolution, decent brightness and acceptable picture quality for $90. It’s not going to dazzle anybody, but at this price you won’t find a better small-screen set.

LG’s proprietary Quantum Nano-Emitting Diode technology lets them build screens with tiny semiconductor nanocrystals for better color accuracy and brightness. The 80T is their entry-level model, and it’s a real beauty. We reviewed the similar LG Q90T and raved about the picture, saying it was one of the best LED images we’d seen in quite some time. This screen also employs the a5 AI Processor Gen 7 to upscale image, sharpen sound and improve your viewing experience. Right now Amazon has it on sale for 28% off.
Here’s another budget model that definitely overperforms for the price, and is great for a secondary entertainment system in a bedroom or man cave. The Hisense A3 comes with the Roku smart TV platform pre-installed, definitely the easiest of the major brands to use, and delivers decent image quality, but the brightness isn’t high enough to handle well-lit rooms. That said, the 1080p image is clear and consistent, color reproduction is quite nice for the price, and you can hook it up to your Google Assistant or Alexa device for hands-free controls.
55-Inch TV Deals
Roku started out with set-top boxes but have made the jump to self-contained smart TVs pretty well, specializing in affordable screens with user-friendly software that makes it easy for even non tech-savvy people to get the content they want. The Select Series is their lower-tier model, but it still features 4K resolution, HDR10+ color quality, and decent reflection handling. It’s good for gaming as well, thanks to low input lag and relatively speedy refresh rate.
Here’s a deep $300 discount on a midrange Samsung QLED set that delivers decent picture quality in a sleek and attractive design. With a duel LED display design, it produces solid contrast and over a billion colors with minimal blur. Setup is a breeze, and the screen is quite thin, making it a good choice for wall hanging. While it lacks some of the more advanced features of more expensive sets, it’s a capable performer with the easy-to-use Tizen TV interface giving you simple streaming access. It also comes with Samsung’s Solar Cell remote that doesn’t need batteries thanks to a built-in solar cell.

Hisense makes solid mid-range TVs, and the A7 is a capable performer for the price. The 4K resolution and wide color gamut makes movies, sports, and video games all look their best, and Dolby Vision compatibility gives you high dynamic range picture quality, coupled with Dolby Atmos sound. The Fire TV platform is a breeze to use, and the included Alexa voice remote gives you hands-free control over the display. It’s on 22% discount following the Big Spring Sale.
The X90L is Sony’s mid-range LED 4K screen, and right now Amazon has a 14% discount that makes it even more appealing. With exceptional SDR brightness, it’s very good for brighter rooms, and HDR brightness is also good enough to make it shine in dark rooms. Sony’s Cognitive Processor XR does a capable job of upscaling lower-resolution imagery to 4K without glitching, and a speedy 120Hz refresh rate means it’s good for console gaming, especially on PlayStation machines through HDMI 2.1. The built-in Google TV interface is a breeze to use, and Sony’s Bravia Core app gives you access to 4K movies.

We reviewed a smaller version of the Hisense U7 and gave it an “Excellent” rating for its bright screen, accurate colors, hands-free voice control support and reasonable price. The mini-LED screen with full array local dimming produces excellent contrast and black balance with rich color and support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. This model gets you all that and a massive 75″ screen to boot. With four HDMI ports on the back, it’s a solid choice for all your gaming consoles as well.

Here’s a juicy 16% price cut on a very nice Sony screen that will anchor your home theater with dazzling color and image quality. Sony’s X77L 4K Ultra TV is a midrange model, but it includes the 4k Processor X1, one of the best picture processors on the market, so you get the same sharp details and vibrant colors from more expensive models. It has a nice wide viewing angle and decent brightness, and works well for gaming because of its low input lag. Motionflow XR enhances fast-moving scenes to eliminate motion blur, making it solid for watching sports as well.
We gave an Editors’ Choice award to this awesome OLED television in our review, saying that it delivers spectacular Pantone-validated color and contrast combined with the sheer brightness that OLED screens specialize in. It’s also packed with features, as you’d expect from a screen in this price bracket, including built-in far-field microphones to enable Alexa voice commands, a gaming mode menu for customizing your console’s output, and much more. It’s spendy, but getting to take 32% off after the Big Spring Sale makes it more attainable.
85-Inch TV Deals
If you’re in the market for a truly massive screen, there aren’t any better deals than this 39% price cut on an 85-inch Hisense that’s packed with features and pumps out incredible 4K images. We reviewed a smaller version of the Hisense U8, and loved its impressive brightness that ranks up to 3000 nits at peak, deep blacks courtesy of over 2000 local dimming zones, and rich contrast coupled with a wide color gamut. A 144Hz refresh rate makes it a solid pick for gamers as well, who will appreciate an input lag of just 6.6 milliseconds in Game Mode. Five onboard speakers even give you 2.1.2 multichannel stereo sound.
