AFTER months of bill hikes, Sky has brought back a rare TV deal.

They have slashed prices across two packages by up to 40 per cent in a move which offers huge benefits to sports fans.

Sky have slashed the prices of their Stream and Glass TV packages.

The TV giant is now offering Sky Ultimate TV with Netflix for £20/month.

It is also offering Sky Sports add-ons for £20 instead of £31.

Collectively, a Sky Stream package with Sky Ultimate TV, Netflix and Sports will cost a collective £40.

That’s a 40 per cent saving on the normal cost of those packages.

The TV company hiked the cost of most of their packages by 14%, while existing customers were handed a 6% on their bills.

Sky have also announced that a slew of channels would be disappearing from TV boxes in yet another satellite shake up.

Sky Sports Racing 3D, Christian broadcaster TWR and Muslim network Ramazan were all pulled on March 31, 2025.

The beloved Sky History +1 channel was axed on April 5, 2025, in what some users have speculated is part of a plan to phase out SKy Q.

Sky Q is the satellite-based box released in 2016 which hasn’t been upgraded for years.

Several channels have shut down their HD versions and now only broadcast from their standard definition ones instead.

Viewers have slammed the move, taking to Sky’s forum to brand the decisions as a “backward step”.

However, a Sky executive assured fans that Sky Q will still “be with us for a while”.

Speaking at the launch of Sky Glass Gen 2, the Global Chief Product Officer for Comcast and Sky, Fraser Stirling, said: “Customer satisfaction is really good still and the reason it’s good is because we’re still invested in it.”
