Game Pass fans can now dive into a whimsical and magical world inspired by southern folklore, in South of Midnight. And if you haven’t played Rockstar’s masterpiece, Grand Theft Auto 5, Game Pass adherents can explore the crime-riddled world of Los Santos soon on the subscription service, too.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate — a Editors’ Choice award pick — offers hundreds of games you can play on your Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One and PC or mobile device for $20 a month. A subscription gets you access to a large library of games, with new titles like Avowed added every month, plus other benefits, such as online multiplayer and deals on non-Game Pass titles.

In this atmospheric, architectural game, you’ll embark on an adventure in an ever-changing manor filled with 45 mysterious and shifting rooms. You’ll work with others, either online or in couch co-op, to solve puzzles together. This game is perfect for a fun game night with a significant other, children or anyone else.
Still Wakes the Deep
Game Pass Standard subscribers can play now.
This tale of isolation at sea comes from the creators of the cult-hit Dear Esther, as well as the survival horror game Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs. In this title, you’re trapped on an oil rig in the North Sea, and an unknown horror is aboard with you. Without a way to escape or even fight back, all you can do is run and try to survive.
Wargroove 2
Game Pass Standard subscribers can play now.
Command the land, sea and sky in this Fire Emblem-style, turn-based tactics game. It’s been three years since the queen of Aurania died, and now a foreign faction is uncovering forbidden technology. It’s up to you and a cast of new characters — including a dog in armor who is just the best boy — to stop these factions from wreaking havoc across the land.
Commandos: Origins

Alarm! You’ve been selected to go on vital missions that could change the course of World War II and all of history. You’ll use stealth and special tactics to take down targets in Africa, the Eastern front and the Arctic. Hunt Showdown 1896 (PC)
Coming to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on April 15.
It’s the end of the century, and twisted monsters and ruthless hunters stand between you and your bounty. You can play this game by yourself or with two others in co-op mode as you strive to claim the bounties of six monster bosses. Use guns, traps and the environment to take down these monsters and claim your reward.
Grand Theft Auto 5
Coming to Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass and Game Pass Standard on April 15.
The city of Los Santos is filled with hustlers, bank robbers and other dangerous criminals, and in this blockbuster game you play as three of these characters. You have to pull off a series of heists, outsmart members of the criminal underworld and try to survive in a sprawling open world where almost nothing is off limits.
All subscribers will get access to Oscar Guzman Flies Again, a GTA Online update filled with new missions centered around an in-game historic airstrip. And PC Game Pass subscribers will get access to the enhanced version of GTA 5 with updated graphics, and those subscribers will also get additional content like Hao’s Special Works Vehicles and more.
Games leaving Game Pass in April
While Microsoft is adding those 10 games to different Game Pass tiers in April, the company is removing other games from the service on April 15. So you still have time to finish your campaign or any side quests before you have to buy these games separately.
