MIKE Tomlin has reportedly made his opinions known concerning a 2025 NFL Draft star.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are in a bit of a quarterback conundrum as the first round of the upcoming NFL Draft takes place on April 24.

Coming off a playoff appearance in 2024, the Steelers hold the No. 21 overall pick and are a major fit for a quarterback.
They are waiting for a decision from NFL free agent Aaron Rodgers, who met with the team last month.
The Steelers won’t be able to select Cam Ward, who’s the consensus No. 1 overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft, but they could look to draft Colorardo Buffaloes product Shedeur Sanders.
The son of Deion Sanders has the chance of being a top-five pick, but he could also fall out of the top 10 and find his way to be an option for the Steelers.
NFL Draft Todd McShay revealed that Tomlin “really likes” Sanders, who visited with the Steelers last week.
“I am told … and I tend to trust where I’m getting this information, Mike Tomlin really likes Shedeur,” McShay said on his The Ringer podcast.
“If he’s there at 21, Shedeur could very well be a Pittsburgh Steeler.”
Tomlin’s feelings about Shedeur appear to be mutual the other way around.
After meeting with the Steelers on April 10, Sanders shared plenty of positive comments concerning the Super Bowl champion coach Tomlin.
“It was great,” Sanders said of his visit, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
“The Steelers were great. I understand them. I understand why they win so much.”
Sheduer also said that Tomlin “resembles” his legendary NFL icon dad Deion when it comes to their styles of coaching.
Deion, of course, coached his son for two seasons with the Buffaloes as well two with the Jackson State Tigers.
There’s a wide range of draft day scenarios for Sanders, who could be drafted by the New Orleans Saints with the No. 9 pick.
The Steelers could try to trade up before the Saints’ selection.

However, if Sanders falls, the Steelers would be in play to select Sanders as teams between 11th and 20th likely won’t spend a first-round pick on a quarterback.
Sanders hasn’t been the only signal-caller linked to the Steelers.
Quarterback prospects Jaxson Dart, Jalen Milroe, and Tyler Shough have visited the Steelers during the pre-draft process.
The Steelers could still end up signing Rodgers and elect to draft a quarterback to sit for a year behind the future Hall of Famer.
