A new OnePlus tablet, bearing the model number OPD2408, has recently been certified by the FCC. While the certification details don’t reveal much about the specifications, it’s easy to connect the dots and speculate that this could be a rebranded version of the Oppo Pad 4 Pro, which launched in China just last week.
As we know, Oppo and OnePlus share a close relationship, often rebranding devices between the two brands. So, the new OnePlus Pad 3 Pro could simply be a rebrand with a new name. If this turns out to be the case, it’s likely that the device will be named the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro, aligning with the recently announced OnePlus Pad 3 from December. However, some leaks have suggested that the name could be OnePlus Pad 3R, but that feels more like a budget naming. So, the ‘Pro’ moniker seems more fitting given the rumored specifications.
OnePlus Pad 3 Pro Rumoured Specifications
The new OnePlus Pad is expected to sport a 13.2-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2400×3392, offering a 144 Hz refresh rate and 900 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, it could pack the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, paired with options of 8, 12, or even 16GB of RAM, and storage choices of 256 or 512GB UFS 4.0. The camera setup might include a 13 MP rear shooter and an 8 MP front-facing camera. To top it all off, the device could be powered by a large 12,140 mAh battery with support for 67W wired charging
