Oppo is gearing up to launch the Oppo A5 Pro 5G in India. Rumors and leaks have already started surfacing in the market ahead of its official debut, revealing the phone’s specifications and expected pricing. Oppo has officially confirmed that the upcoming A5 Pro 5G in India will come with an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, along with a tough 360-degree drop-resistant armour body. This makes it one of the most durable smartphones in its segment. It also packs a large 5,800mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
The device might also feature a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, 1,000 nits of peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection to keep the screen safe from everyday wear and tear. In terms of photography, the A5 Pro 5G is expected to sport a 50 MP main camera with OIS, paired with a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, users can look forward to an 8MP front-facing camera.
Under the hood, the device is tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It is expected to ship with ColorOS 15.0 based on Android 15.

According to a report, the smartphone will likely start at Rs 17,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB version could be priced at Rs 19,999. However, this is all speculation, so take it with a pinch of salt.
