Dell Technologies has appointed Lisa Ergun as the client solutions group (CSG) channel lead for the UK.

Ergun will spearhead Dell’s UK CSG channel strategy, focusing on key growth areas such as AI-powered PCs, sustainable IT solutions and advanced security compliance.

In her new role, Ergun will work closely with Dell’s UK Channel lead, Ian Heath and UK senior vice president and managing director Steve Young.

Prior to joining Dell, Lisa was channel sales manager for Platinum 360 Partners at Lenovo UK and Ireland for 13 years.

“Lisa’s 25 years of experience in the IT sector give her unparalleled insight into the dynamics of the channel partner landscape,” Ian Heath said. “Her expertise will be instrumental in delivering predictable engagement and driving profitable, sustainable growth for our partners.”

This appointment comes as the industry gears up for a PC refresh cycle. Millions of computers are predicted to be incompatible with Windows 11, and in October, Microsoft will end Windows 10 support.

Simultaneously, businesses are lining up their upgrade cycles with next-generation AI PCs, signalling the desire to balance the need to refresh with future-proof purchases.

Dell’s AI PC portfolio, unveiled in January, promises to capture the full potential of this trend.
