Sanders, 23, was widely expected to be a first round pick in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

But his name slid down the draft board and wasn’t called Thursday.

The quarterback will have to wait until Friday night and rounds two and three for his moment.

He watched the draft in Texas surrounded by friends and family, including NFL icon father Deion.

Another of Deion’s sons Deion Jr posted a video of Shedeur’s speech to those gathered at his draft party.

Shedeur described the events of Thursday as, “This is fuel to the fire.”

He added, “We all didn’t expect this of course, but I feel like with God everything is possible.

“Under no circumstances we know this shouldn’t have happened.

“But we understand we’re onto bigger and better things.

“Tomorrow is the day – we’re going to be happy regardless.”

‘I’m so triggered by this’ – GMFB star Kyle Brandt rages at Shedeur Sanders hate from ‘anonymous coach’ before NFL Draft

And Shedeur finished with a simple message, “Legendary.”

The Colorado Buffaloes star was widely linked with going No. 21 overall to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

But the team opted against selecting the quarterback.

The New York Giants traded back into the first round with the No. 25 pick.

But they selected Jaxson Dart as the second quarterback behind No. 1 pick Cam Ward.

Sanders has been under the brightest spotlight heading into the NFL Draft.

A report from a “anonymous coach” days before the NFL Draft caused uproar.

The coach said, “He’s so entitled. He takes unnecessary sacks. He never plays on time.

“He has horrible body language. He blames teammates. … But the biggest thing is, he’s not that good.”

NFL Network presenter Kyle Brandt leaped to Shedeur’s defence on Good Morning Football.

“Shut up, anonymous coach,” Brandt yelled at the start of his rant.

“Shut up. This is not only anonymous, I think it’s tasteless.

“I see entitlement in a grown professional who is going around anonymously destroying young athletes, with very personal quotes – anonymously, as they’re about to realize their dream and become professionals.

“‘He’s not that good,’ well maybe neither are you, anonymous-quote coach.

“And maybe that’s why you’re an assistant coach and not a head coach, and you have been for a long time.”
