GTA 6 leaks and rumours are flooding the internet right now, but it looks like we might have gotten one of the wildest leaks yet. If this comes true, we could be looking at the most detailed and immersive open world Rockstar has ever created.
A fresh leak about Grand Theft Auto VI is making the rounds, and this one dives deep into how Rockstar might be revamping the NPC(Non Playable Characters) system in ways no one could have imagined. A Reddit user, who claims to be a former Rockstar Games developer, shared alleged details around the game’s dynamic NPC behavior. The details tell us that this game could be the most immersive world we’ve ever seen in a game.
A user claims to have worked on GTA 6 and shares the following:
– Variable NPC density at beaches/city centers based on the day of the week
– Same NPCs seen at beach on weekends will be seen going to work Monday through Friday
– In-game concerts and events with branded t-shirts pic.twitter.com/f4YHgLLAE0— GTA 6 Countdown ⏳ (@GTAVI_Countdown) April 20, 2025
According to the leak, NPCs in GTA 6 won’t just be wandering randomly on the streets but would have their own routines that are apparently influenced by the time of day, the location, and even in-game events. For example, restaurants and beaches would have huge crowds on weekends, while tourist spots might only be buzzing during certain hours. This means the crowd you run into at 11 a.m. on a Monday might be completely different from what you see at 6 p.m. on a Saturday.
This gets even crazier as the events happening in the game world would also influence how NPCs dress and behave. They might be seen in formal wear for a major event and relaxed outfits for a beach party, making them more realistic and adding depth to the gameplay. The main aim of these changes is to make the return to Vice City more realistic and add a layer of real life in the game world.
As exciting as this all sounds, there’s no solid confirmation that the leaker was actually a Rockstar employee. Nothing official has been confirmed by Rockstar or Take-Two, and the original Reddit post has since disappeared, so it’s best to take all of this with a pinch of salt.
