OnePlus has updated the price for its latest Wear OS watch for a second time, and this time it’s permanent. The OnePlus Watch 3 is now $349.99 for anyone purchasing from today; those who bought it when it was $150 more expensive will get refunds.
A typo delayed the launch of the Watch 3 to April, but when it did arrive, it came with some sticker shock. OnePlus hiked the price from $329.99 to $499.99, “due to the current market conditions”—meaning President Trump’s tariffs on China. OnePlus is a Chinese brand owned by Oppo.
OnePlus has now updated the price again to $349.99, citing “recent adjustments in our supply chain.” That’s $20 more than what it had initially planned to charge for the watch, but OnePlus says the price “will not be changed going forward.”
If you bought the smartwatch for $499.99, you can expect to hear directly from OnePlus support for details of a refund for the difference in price. The company plans to refund you directly to your original payment method, but it’ll also contact those impacted to explain the situation.

The tariff situation has been confusing and frustrating to consumer tech brands. We’re currently in the middle of a 90-day “pause” on Trump’s sky-high “reciprocal tariffs,” which were lowered to 10%. However, Trump previously imposed 20% tariffs, too. Trump insists his administration is negotiating a deal with China, but the country says no trade talks are happening right now.
Tariffs prompted Nintendo to delay preorders of the Switch 2 in the US for several weeks. The price remained the same when they started last week, though it did increase the cost of some Switch 2 accessories.
