SHAKIRA has accidentally confirmed that Rihanna is ‘pregnant’ during a live TV slip up on the Met Gala red carpet.
The singer appeared shocked and shrieked in horror when she realized she might have said too much about the pop star expecting another bundle of joy.

Shakira, 48, walked the red, or in this case, the blue carpet, at the 2025 Met Gala on Monday night before Rihanna, 37, even arrived.
Due to photos of the We Found Love singer’s baby bump coming out before the event, some fans, including Shakira, already assumed Rihanna had confirmed her pregnancy.
However, before she was ever able to make the baby announcement on her own, Shakira revealed the exciting news during a live TV moment on the carpet.
Speaking to NBC News, Shakira said that Rihanna was the person she was “most excited” to hang out with on fashion’s biggest night.

“I want to see Rihanna! I want to see her so bad. And I just heard the news too,” she told the interviewer.
When the reporter seemed confused as to what Shakira was referring to, she excitedly responded: “She’s pregnant!”
She then looked horrified as she realized that she had spoken out before Rihanna herself was even able to announce the news.
The Grammy-winner put her hands up to her face and looked shocked as she confessed: “Am I not supposed to say that?”

She then awkwardly laughed and walked away from the interview.
Before she made her red carpet appearance at tonight’s Met Gala, Rihanna was pictured arriving at the Carlyle Hotel with her baby bump sticking out of her grey shirt.
The photographs appeared to announce that the Fenty founder is indeed pregnant with her third child with longtime partner A$AP Rocky.
A$AP Rocky also attended the Met Gala tonight and arrived hours ahead of his fashionably late girlfriend.
The rapper confirmed the exciting news in an interview with Good Morning America before his baby mama arrived at the fashion event.
“It feels amazing! It’s time to show the people what we’ve been cooking up. And I’m glad everyone is happy for us.
“Because we are definitely happy,” the rapper gushed with a massive smile.
Superfine: Tailoring Black Style — 2025 Met Gala’s theme explained

This year’s Met Gala theme Superfine: Tailoring Black Style was announced on October 9, 2024, but what does it mean?
It is inspired by a new exhibit at the Costume Institute that focuses on Black style, notably Black dandyism from the 18th century through to its resurgence in the 1920s and 30s in the Harlem Renaissance and its influence on present day.
Dandyism speaks to elegant and often excessive fashion used for self-expression that often breaks norms and can be seen as a form of rebellion.
Attendees have been told that the dress code is “Tailored for you” and that the theme explores how fashion has been used to both enslave and liberate.
It is inspired by the book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism And The Styling Of Black Diasporic Identity (2009), written by professor and chair of Africana studies at Barnard College, Monica L Miller.
This exhibition marks a significant step in diversifying the Met’s collections and addressing historical biases in curatorial practices.
Andrew Bolton, the Curator in Charge, emphasized the importance of making fashion at The Met more accessible and inclusive.
It comes as:
Earlier on Monday evening, Rihanna strutted into The Carlyle as she debuted her growing bump with a form-fitting outfit.
The business mogul, who is already mom to sons RZA, 2, and Riot, 1, with A$AP Rocky, arrived to the famous New York City hotel in a gray top and skirt with matching boots.
“Rihanna is pregnant again!” one thrilled fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Rihanna is pregnant, omg!” chimed in another.
“Maybe it will be a baby girl this time!” said a third.
