A BUDGET airline just began running several new routes nationwide with tickets costing less than $50.

The airline will slowly begin rolling out its 19 new flights throughout the summer, just in time for beach-bound travelers.

Breeze Airways announced earlier this year that it would begin offering more direct and nonstop flights throughout the United States.

“We experienced incredible growth in 2024 thanks to our amazing partners in the cities we serve and the hard work and dedication of our Team Members across the U.S. and we look forward to continuing that momentum this year,” David Neeleman, Breeze Airways’ founder and CEO, said in a statement.

The new routes will introduce the airline to three new cities: Rochester, New York, Albany, New York, and Memphis, Tennessee.

The company’s 19 new routes include 13 direct flights and six one-stop/no plane change BreezeThru routes.

“We see great demand and opportunity for our premium product offering in secondary markets across the country and are excited to add Rochester, Albany and Memphis to our network.”

The airline first began selling tickets for its new routes in February, and the first of its latest nonstop flights started on April 30.

The flight will take guests from Pensacola, Florida, to Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, and Providence, Rhode Island.

More routes from Maine, Florida, New York, and California will roll out throughout the summer.

Some routes will run seasonally on certain weekdays, but others are there to stay long term.

Flights begin at $39 one-way and travelers can start buying tickets now.

Breeze Airways first welcomed flyers in 2021 with its headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The latest additions follow several new routes the airline launched last fall.

The airline initially had 16 destinations and has since expanded to over 170 nonstop routes nationwide.

Last year, the company announced the extension of the company’s partnership in Providence, Rhode Island, where the airline offers weekly services to and from.

“A large part of the success Breeze has achieved in such a short period of time can be attributed to support we have received from many of our airport, government and community partners – such as right here in the state of Rhode Island,” said Breeze Founder and CEO David Neeleman.

“I am very grateful to Governor McKee, Senator Reed, the Speaker, Senate President and General Assembly, and to Iftikhar and the whole team at the Rhode Island Airport Corporation for their unwavering support and belief in what we are building.”

The governor called the renewal of the partnership an “exciting” moment for the state.

“This is an exciting day for Rhode Island,” said Governor Dan McKee in a press release.

“We’re proud to be home to one of the top ten airports in the world and we’re even prouder to have Breeze Airways expanding its footprint in our state.

“This expansion will bring in more economic activity, more good-paying jobs, more routes, more visitors, and help set Rhode Island up as a true destination state.”
