The next-gen Razr is about to bring some heat to the foldables market. Motorola has officially announced that the Razr 60 Ultra is launching in India on May 13 at 12 PM IST, and this foldable is already looking like a beast. The successor to last year’s Razr 50 Ultra has already made waves globally, and now it is soon launching in India. Motorola is calling it the most advanced foldable yet.
Motorola Razr 60 Ultra Specification
The Razr 60 Ultra is the first foldable phone to ship with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset which is a major performance upgrade from the 8s Gen 3 on the previous model. Motorola claims it’s hitting over 2.7 million points on AnTuTu.
In terms of design, Motorola is going completely bold. The Razr 60 Ultra will be available in three Pantone-validated colours: Scarab Green, Rio Red, and Wood Brown. Motorola is bringing a fashion statement with this one, using real Alcantara and wood. This makes it the first phone in the world crafted with actual Alcantara and wood textures.
There’s also a redesigned titanium hinge that promises less creasing and better durability. Along with this, it has a Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic layer and an IP48 rating to help protect the device from drops and water splashes.
Other details have not been revealed but, considering the blueprint of the global model we could see a 7-inch Super HD LTPO AMOLED inner display with a 165Hz refresh rate, 4,500 nits of peak brightness, and Dolby Vision support. On the outside, we could get a 4-inch Flexible AMOLED display that also hits 165Hz, packs 3,000 nits brightness, and offers full touch functionality. It is perfect for quick replies and selfies.
On the camera front, the Razr 60 Ultra packs three 50MP sensors. The rear setup includes a 50 MP primary camera and a 50 MP ultra-wide, while the front-facing selfie camera also sports a 50MP sensor. This setup promises flagship-grade shots across the board. On the software side, it runs Android 15 out of the box, with Moto AI 2.0 onboard for smarter performance and an enhanced user experience.
Motorola Razr 60 Ultra Pricing
While the India pricing will be revealed at launch, the global price is set at $1,300 (roughly Rs 1,10,000). For reference, last year’s Razr 50 Ultra launched in India at Rs 99,999, so expect this one to push slightly higher.
