Qnap System has announced the launch of the TDS-H2489FU R2, a NAS ALL-FLASH NVME U.2 RACK assembly which combines scalable storage capacity, great performance and robust network connection. It is designed to respond to the business demand of high work loads, multitasking and low latency in applications such as virtualization, high performance computer science (HPC), data centers, IA/ml computing, Big data storage and 3D rendering.

The new TDS includes Sixteen NVME PCIE U.2 slots of 2.5 inches and eight SATA 6GBPS / NVME PCIE U.2 slots of 2.5 incheswhich offers up to 1,000,000 IOPS in a 4K random reading performance, ideal for high density and multitasking data access applications, allowing IT equipment to easily manage virtualization, IA models training or postproduction edition. Admit PCIE Storage Expansion Cards to connect up to ten JBOD PCIE TL-R2400PES-RP for 240 additional discs or even sixteen JBOD SAS TL-R1620SEP-RP for 256 additional discs.
QNAP offers it in Two processing settingswith an Intel Xeon Silver 4309y 8 cores at 3.6 GHz or two Intel Xeon Silver 4314 processors of 16 cores at 3.4 GHz. Supports DDR4 ECC RDIMM memory that can be expanded to 1 TB, which guarantees a fluid performance in the management of critical applications. It has two PCIE NVME M.2 2280 Gen 3 X4 / SATA 6GBPS for SSD storage sets, SSD cache or SSD system discs to improve general efficiency.
In the section of the connectivity and to respond to the demand of high bandwidth the Qnap TDS-H2489FU R2 has four RJ45 2.5GBE ports and two SFP28 25GBE ports (pre-installed with a 25GBE network card of two ports). The 25GBE card admits Iser.
