The European software supplier Forterro has allied with AWS to offer its ERP solutions in the cloud through Amazon Web Services. This alliance also offers direct access to Forterro customers to AWS experts, advanced technical support, more modernization options and more depth in collaboration to strengthen safety and innovation.
The alliance is part of the growing tendency to adopt the cloud among medium -sized companies in different industrial sectors, which are progressively abandoning local solutions. Forterro, which provides service mainly to industrial companies, has registered as a result of this trend an interannual increase of 177% in its cloud software sales.
Until now, Forterro worked with AWS through a partner, but from now on he will do it directly. Thus, their customers will have greater availability of existing services, and continuous access to the company’s Erp Cloud solutions. In addition, they will have more agility when solving their problems thanks to AWS technical support.
Marcus Pannier, president of Forterrostressed that «this Alliance represents a logical step for Forterro, since we continue to support the cloud transformation of our clients. When working directly with AWS, we reinforce our commitment to offer ERP solutions in the last, safe and high performance cloud«.
For its part, Sébastien Weill, Vice President of Products and Operations of Forterrostressed that «in The context of the acceleration of our transformation towards the cloud, we wanted to establish a closer and more direct relationship with AWS. This reinforced alliance gives us closer access to AWS experts, which allows us to improve our cloud offers, offer even more effective customer support and innovate faster, especially in the field of artificial intelligence«.
Weill has also pointed out that for its clients, «The ability to climb is vital, and this is one of the reasons why many who still host their local software are migrating to the cloud. AWS is intrinsically scalable and offers tranquility to customers by allowing them to increase or reduce their capacity according to their current needs«.
