The oldest soccer competition in the world will crown its newest champion this weekend. Manchester City will lock horns with Crystal Palace for the FA Cup trophy in what promises to be a thrilling final at the iconic Wembley Stadium.

Manchester City, who have had a below-par season by their standards, will be gunning for their eighth FA Cup trophy, while Crystal Palace will fight for their first ever. If you’re wondering where you can catch the action live, here’s all the information you need.

When Is the FA Cup Final?

The Men’s FA Cup Final 2025 will be played on Saturday, May 17, at Wembley Stadium in London. The kick-off time is 11:30 a.m. ET (4:30 p.m. BST, 9 p.m. IST).

How to Watch the FA Cup Final in the US

ESPN is the official broadcaster of the FA Cup in the US. You can watch the final on the cable network or stream it using an ESPN+ subscription.  The subscription starts at $11.99 per month and, unfortunately, no longer offers a free trial period. If you are looking for free ways to catch the game, take a look at the details below.

How to Watch the FA Cup Final for Free From Anywhere Using a VPN

In the UK, the FA Cup Final will be streaming for free on BBC iPlayer and ITV.

If you are located elsewhere, you’ll need to get a VPN service to watch geo-restricted content. The best VPNs on the market are not free, but most offer a free trial period, which you can cancel before the monthly fee kicks in. This workaround should do the trick for you as long as you haven’t exhausted the free trial period of your preferred VPN already.

Just follow these steps, and you should be good to go. For demonstration, we are using ExpressVPN, which our experts deem useful for streaming media.

Recommended by Our Editors

  1. Subscribe to a streaming-friendly VPN like ExpressVPN.

  2. Download the VPN app on your device (PC or smartphone).

  3. Launch the app and connect to a server in the UK.

  4. Once the connection is established, head over to BBC iPlayer or ITV and enjoy the final for free.

Note: If the website requires you to sign up, make sure you enter a local postal code in the UK.

Disclaimer: Using a VPN to watch geo-restricted content might be illegal on certain platforms and in certain regions. Use at your own risk.
