If you’ve been eyeing the Starlink Mini dish, now is a good time to buy. SpaceX is offering it at a 50% discount, bringing the price down to $299.

The Mini dish normally retails for $599. But on Thursday, deep discounts started popping up on Starlink.com and at official resellers, including Walmart, Target, and Best Buy.

According to Starlink.com, the discount will last until Wednesday, May 28, meaning the deal will continue through the Memorial Day weekend.

We’ve seen discounts on the Mini dish before. But $299 appears to be a new low in the US. In other markets, SpaceX offers even steeper discounts, down to $165, to lure in new subscribers.

The Mini dish is compact enough to fit into a backpack. It debuted about a year ago, and earned high marks from PCMag for its portability and relatively fast internet speeds, although it lags behind the standard Starlink dish. The Mini model also includes a built-in Wi-Fi router, but you’ll need a compatible power supply if you plan on using it on the go, like during a camping trip.

The Mini Dish discount comes after SpaceX launched a new $40 Mini Router that can be used to increase the Wi-Fi range of the Mini dish.

Although you can buy the $299 Mini Dish from Starlink.com, a third-party retailer has its benefits, like potentially faster shipping or pick-up and an easier return process if you aren’t satisfied.
