Portworx by Pureage collaborates with Red Hat to offer more virtualization options

Portworx by Pure Storage y Red Hat are collaborating to advance virtualization, And the first step of this union has already seen the light: Portworx for KubeVirta storage solution defined by virtualization centered software, which allows executing virtual machines work loads in kubernetes using Red Hat Onshift Virtualization Engine.

With Portworx for Kubevirt it is possible to plan and facilitate the migration and operation of applications in kubernettes, since it is not necessary to migrate everything immediately to the Native Cloud environment. If they wish, their users can continue executing applications in virtual machines on Kubernetes, while developing or modifying cloud apps, according to their resources and deadlines.

PortWorx for Kubevirt, with Red Hat Onshift Virtualization Engine, allows to plan the migration of virtual machines to the infrastructure of kubernettes in any environment where Openshift is executed: local, public cloud, edge or hybrid deployments.

Red Hat Onshift Virtualization Engine is a solution that focuses on work loads based on virtual machines, and offers the virtualization function of Red Hat Openshift to implement, administer and climb virtual machines. As for Portrworx by Pure Storage, it offers company data management capabilities that, when integrated with Red Hat Onshift Virtualization Engine, facilitates the migration and management of virtualized workloads on a single platform.

Many companies are already using Portworx with Onshift not only to migrate and manage loads, but also to boost the development of innovative applications.
