Calling all Web3 developers, blockchain advocates, and seasoned writers!

If you fall into any of the categories above, consider this your final reminder to enter the Web3 Development Writing Contest before the June 17, 2025, deadline—for a chance to win your share of $5,000. Whether you’ve been sitting on an idea or just now heard about this opportunity, it’s time to put pen to paper (or fingers to keys) and write your way to great cash prizes.

What’s the Web3 Development Writing Contest About?

Web3 has been central to global tech discourse for years. Yet, the ecosystem always seems to be “inching closer,” “not quite there yet.” The truth is, to actualize the future of the internet, as Web3 is often heralded to be, we must build boldly and iterate quickly. That requires better tools, smarter infrastructure, and projects built on strong fundamentals with clear use cases.

This contest puts that reality in focus. It challenges participants to explore the foundations of Web3 development—blockchain APIs, essential dApp tools, scalability challenges, interoperability strategies, and more. A $5,000 prize pool, provided by contest sponsor, GetBlock, awaits the best entries. Enter Now!

How to Enter the Web3 Development Writing Contest

To enter, choose at least one writing prompt from the categories below and submit your answer.

You can view the full list of prompts HERE.

Here are some prompts (and simplified writing templates) to get you started:

#blockchain-api

  • What exactly is a Blockchain node, and how does it work?
  • What makes a Blockchain API fast and reliable?

#dApp-development

  • Which blockchain API is best for dApp development?
  • Why switch from a public node to a dedicated RPC node for your dApp?

#getblock-tutorial

  • How can you build a cross-chain dApp using GetBlock’s multi-blockchain support?
  • What does it take to run a dedicated Ethereum node with GetBlock?
