How to Save Notes Under Apple Maps Locations

Whether you are dropping a pin (iPhone’s way of marking a location on a map) or selecting an existing place, once you add a location to your saved location library in the Maps app, you can leave a note about the spot to help you remember important details. 1. Open the Maps app.
2. Drop a pin or navigate to an existing location, then tap the plus icon to add the spot to your saved places Library.

   

3. Swipe up to see more of your options. Here you can tap Add a Note.

   

4. Or, tap the more menu (three dots).

   

5. Here, you can tap Add a Note.

   

6. Write your note. Tap Done when you are finished.

   

7. The note will appear under the location whenever you look at it on your Maps app. No one else will see your note, including the business, unless someone looks up the location using your phone.

   

You can tap on the note or use the More menu to edit the note. You can also delete it by long-pressing the note and tapping Delete Note at the bottom.
