Just a few hours before WWDC, your HomeKit Insider Podcast host dives into some possible new features in iOS 26 with Nanoleaf CEO Gimmy Chu.

Gimmy Chu is the CEO of Nanoleaf, who has appeared on the podcast multiple times to lend his expertise in the smart home and insight around the brand’s newest products. Recently, Nanoleaf released a pegboard desk light and solar-powered garden lights.

Much of the episode was spent surrounding Nanoleaf’s new launches, as well as what may be coming down the line.

Before the interview though, your host starts by rounding up some of the biggest smart home hopes for WWDC 2025 and iOS 26. Gimmy includes his wishes as well, which are predominantly focused around AI.

In the news, Wyze has a new smart home camera that is attached to a smart bulb. This combo device, while decidedly ugly, may have some enticing utility, however.

AIDot also introduced the first Matter-enabled bathroom fan. This bathroom exhaust fan is built on Matter 1.3, has a built-in humidity sensor, full color lights, includes a remote, and has a built-in Bluetooth speaker.

Finally, we go into a leaked MagSafe charger. While details are scarce, it looks like it supports the upcoming Qi 2.2 standard.

After the news we go hands-on with Satechi’s new FindAll glasses case and luggage tag. Both of which work with the Find My app.
