It’s back. Like Robert Downey Jr. returning to the Marvel fold, Disney+ has re-introduced its bargain of a deal.
New and eligible returning subscribers can benefit from this big discount, with a month subscription to Disney+ reduced to just £1.99/month; although this time around it lasts for as long as four months, not three.
This promotion is for the Standard with Ads plan, which is priced at £4.99/month. When the four month promotional period is up, the price will revert to the Standard plan.
The Standard with Ads plan is, as the same implies, the ad-based version of the streaming service. You will have full access to the Disney+ content library but ads will be shown before and during playback. The highest resolution you’ll be able to watch all this content in will be 1080p HD. To watch in 4K HDR (Dolby Vision), you’ll need to cough up more.

This promotion coincides with new movies and TV shows available on the platform with Walt Disney’s Snow White at the head of queue (11th June), Marvel Television’s Ironheart arriving on June 25th, followed by the highly anticipated fourth season of FX’s The Bear (June 26th).
Fans of the Alien franchise will get another dose of everyone’s favourite xenomorph with the launch of Alien: Earth on August 13th. Time it right and you’ll also be able to catch live matches of the UEFA Women’s Champions League matches.
Adn of course there’s plenty of other TV and film series to watch with the Disney vault featuring classics such as Die Hard, underrated films in Kingdom of Heaven and reality TV series in the form of the popular The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
This deal won’t last for too long, beginning June 11th and ending on June 30th. If you’ve been waiting for a reason to jump back into Disney+, this deal is as good as any to return to the House of Mouse.
