With the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit 2025 coming closer, it looks like the flagship chipset market is heating up. Recently, some benchmark scores for the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 were leaked. Now, it looks like MediaTek is ready to battle against Qualcomm with their Dimensity 9500. Some early leaks give us a hint of this flagship chip from MediaTek, and it looks really promising.
Fresh new leaks about the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 have been making rounds on the internet. According to these leaks from Digital Chat Station, it’s bringing some serious power to the table. As per the leak, the Dimensity 9500 scores over 3,900 in single-core and more than 11,000 in multi-core.
This is really close to the recent leaks that came from the same leaker about the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. It doesn’t stop there, as an earlier report said that the Dimensity 9500 has also reached the 4 million mark on AnTuTu. This clearly shows that MediaTek is gearing up to disrupt the market with this new chip that promises true flagship-tier performance.
MediaTek is going all-in with cutting-edge architecture and design. The leaks suggest that it’s being built on TSMC’s 3rd-gen 3nm node for better power efficiency and thermal performance. It’s also rumoured to feature an 8-core CPU setup and a new Immortalis-G920 GPU that’s tuned for enhanced ray tracing and lower power draw. Overall, these leaks give a promising look at the upcoming MediaTek flagship.
Right now, no information is available regarding the devices that might feature this powerhouse chipset. But some reports hint that the Vivo X300 series is tipped to be the first to debut with the Dimensity 9500 this September. It’s still a mystery, so take all these leaks with a pinch of salt until there’s an official confirmation.
