NFL great Tom Brady is to be commemorated by the New England Patriots for life.
The American spent 20 seasons with the Pats – winning six Super Bowls with them.

He left in 2019 to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where he spent three years playing until retiring.
Brady – who now the Las Vegas Raiders – remains a Pats legend and will be honored with a statue outside the Gillette Stadium in August.
Owner Robert Kraft initially shared the plans for the bronze Brady during his Hall of Fame ceremony last year – the same night the 47-year-old No. 12 was retired.
Kraft said the statue would “perpetuate the legendary legacy of this once-in-a-lifetime player” .and a local artist had already been commissioned.
According to TMZ, the statue will be unveiled on August 8 – the same day the Pats host the Washington Commanders for a preseason game.
In May, it was reported Brady considered coming out of retirement to return to football.
He hung up his cleats two years ago “for good” after initially coming out of retirement and playing in the 2022 season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
But Brady might make a shocking football comeback and compete at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
Sources told The Daily Mail that Brady seriously wants a gold medal to add to his spectacular resume and once again prove that he’s the best football player of all time.
The report comes as the NFL’s owners passed a vote on Tuesday allowing the league’s players to compete at the Olympics in three years.
Brady will be 50 by the time the festivities come to LA, but he still wants to lead Team USA to the top of the medal podium when it’s all set and done.
“He wants a Gold medal. And what better way to remain the GOAT and return to the sport he loves, by helping his country win gold,” an insider told the outlet.
“He knows he would be able to help and excel in that environment and since his life is very much scheduled and has a tight regimen, so many things could fall into place for him around that time.
“With the Olympics being in LA, he wouldn’t have to travel far. And it would culminate in one of the best birthdays ever.”
