Temu’s owner PDD is testing a feature aimed at enhancing both merchant sales and user satisfaction. Under the “Selected Users Consumer Experience Enhancement Plan,” merchants who opt in to the program can provide more targeted and cost-effective returns. This means that merchants will cover return shipping fees for some users identified by the platform. Merchants joining the program will get fee waivers and discounts on orders from these users for a period of time. Selected users will be able to find products covered by the feature through exclusive search keywords and filters. Additionally, merchants will receive priority access to platform activities, traffic support, and shipping subsidies. [Ebrun, in Chinese]
